Pec pod Sněžkou is a town in Trutnov District in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 700 inhabitants. The town is located on the Úpa River in the Giant Mountains, at the base of the highest mountain of the Czech Republic, Sněžka.
The ski resort at Pec pod Sněžkou is one of the best-known mountain resorts in the country. A cable car system leads from the town to the top of Sněžka.
