Open data
Some of our tables are made from open databases under the Open Database Licence (ODbL), mostly OpenStreetMap. Those tables are under the ODbL too, and anyone may have a copy.
The tables
- Towns. The towns and villages we suggest you stay in, with their names and positions.
- Spots and areas. Wind, dive and paddle spots, and climbing and mountain bike areas, found in OpenStreetMap.
- Spot estimates. Which way each spot's shore faces, its swell window and its kind of break, measured on OpenStreetMap's coastline, beaches, land and water.
- Ski areas. Ski areas, and each resort's runs by grade.
- Whitewater sections. River sections for kayaking, with their grades and where they start and end.
- Nearby. Places to eat, dive centres, schools and other things to do near each place.
- Road times. Drive times from airports to each place.
- Bus times. Bus times from airports in Ireland.
How to get them
Ask through our contact form, saying which tables you want and giving your email. We send them within 30 days, free, as files a computer can read (CSV or JSON), under the ODbL.
When you use them, credit "© OpenStreetMap contributors" and the other sources named on How it works.
Text from Wikipedia
Our flight routes and ski resort introductions come from Wikipedia, under CC BY-SA 4.0, and stay under it. You can ask for them the same way.
These licences cover these tables and texts only. The rest of the site is covered by our terms.
