Photo credits

Every photo on this site comes from Wikimedia Commons, under a free licence that lets anyone reuse it with credit. Code picks each one from public data. Every photo loads from our own domain: our own copy, or, until we have one, a copy our server fetches from Wikimedia and passes on. Your browser never contacts Wikimedia (see Privacy). We resize the photos and the page may trim their edges to fit the frame, but we never edit the files. A photo's licence covers that photo only, not the rest of the page.

Where we have no photo of the place itself, we show one of somewhere near it, its nearest town or the wider area, and the caption says which and how far.

The room photos next to each stay are examples of a budget, mid-range and luxury stay, not the hotels the link finds.
